Why would Millwall turn down 200k? I thought they wanted to let him go on a free/nominal fee and it was more about getting his wages off their books? Apparently not if that's to be believed.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19318598 - Connor Sammon gone to Derby. Might have missed this but you can't blame me with the 187 pages of Guess Who. Good signing I think for Derby, we was after him for a while before he went Wigan.
Wyn Grant says there are unconfirmed reports that we've had £200k turned down for DNG.
Good - what a waste of money that would be. If we have £200k available, I'm sure we could put it to better use than DNG. If he's not good enough to get in the Spanners team he certainly in't good enough for ours. He was an impact sub in L1, that's his level.
SLP reports that we have had a bid of less than 50K for ngussein (spelling ? sorry) turned down. Apparently he is very keen to come here & no doubt it will happen. Very very underwhelming as far as I'm concerned & how disappointing with our signings this summer after the dynamic signings last summer. (ok we've no money, it doesn't make it any less dissappointing). If we sign dng imo it's just a return to the bad old days of sodje/mooney/nouble etc.
Can't believe we would bid 200k for Danny and even more that if we had that Millwall turned it down. Very odd.
I really hope that is not true because once again he would just be an addition to the squad, we are just not improving our first eleven. There must be better out there if we have £200k to spend.

After the reports of many missed chances at Brum saturday we need to be doing all we can to bring in a decent striker. We can't go thru the season with just BWP & Yann as our only decent strikers with Haynes in the recovery suite & a millwall reserve as our back up!

Not arguing just for the sake of it but would like to get over another point of view regarding this. Firstly can I state up front that I think DNG is or would be a squad player that we don't need provided we are getting in another striker. If not for whatever reason then it might just be worth it. Big lad who doesn't lack for effort and is known by the manager and reportedly wants to come. Just because he's out of favour at the Den it doesn't mean he's not good enough. Many would argue with some vigour that recently departed Paul Hayes was good enough for the championship yet was very out of favour with SCP. I was hoping for a more proven striker but if we have no money which it now appears certain then DNG might not be a bad acquisition.
if we got DNG for 100k I think that would be good business. The way some of you talk about him you'd think he was Mike Small. Thought he played well up front at Preston, but then most of you probably were not there to see it. We have no money, what do you expect?

Yannick Bolasie?
Who is Bolasie's agent.....http://www.playersloungeltd.com/players.html
I deserve a Knighthood (even if it's not him)
You would have thought he would be able to spell Callum Harriott's name right though
: - )

Any money we have should be used towards wages for a possible loan or free.
