He is just going through the three areas that is outlined in the minutes. One of the subjects was asking about the situation of administration, if it was likely etc.
[cite]Posted By: News Shopper[/cite]Geoff's plan is to explain what happened in three separate articles over the next week and the administration part will make up the next one.
Understand that but "Administration - why it's not going to happen" might have been a better and less worrisome tagline even if less dramatic.
[cite]Posted By: News Shopper[/cite]He may well explain it as such later in the week Ben.
We know that as those of us on here have had the benefit of reading a summary of the FF meeting with the directors but others reading the NS may not have.
It's a minor point but as others said it leaves it hanging in the air rather than making clear what the situation is.
Apart from shedding a little unwelcome darkness on the subject of administration, this article discusses the situation regarding the Zabeel take-over:
While most people were excited at the prospect of a massive financial injection, attracting the inevitable media circus at The Valley with fans being interviewed on TV about who our next signing might be, it created considerable unrest with the players, concerned for their own futures.
It created considerable unrest with the players, did it? What's the basis of this? Were players interviewed at the meeting? Where does this "fact" come from?
The minutes are not wrong, Geoff made the club aware he would not be attending because he was on his way to Swansea on Thursday evening for the weekend game.
I've spoken to Geoff and he says he made Dave Rudd aware he would be putting something together based on his notes and would submit an article to the News Shopper.

I'm confused, why has this comment been made.

So the three News Shopper articles will be based off the interpreted minutes rather from what was actually said at the meeting.
Unless Geoff was present and the minutes are wrong.
