What a difference an expiring contract makes.

Came on for Jon Jo, immediately won a header, made two 50/50 tackles one of which he actually won, played intelligently 'in the hole', found lots of space in the box, laid off some nice accurate balls to team mates and was always available when needed. Just a shame he missed the one on one with the keeper.

What an enigma that man is.

TBF he always play better when he plays in the hole behind the striker. He's not really a winger, but we've always played him there.
  • It sounds like Addickted was trying to point out a change in attitude.

No one has ever doubted the player's ability.
  • Often he's come on when the team are losing or simlpy not settled enough to play a passing game. He's a good addition in a good charlton side but simply hasnt the balls or the strength to make that happen himself.

agree with that, as we are now improving and playing better he may yet have an important role to play - he came closest to a winner for us on Saturday.

    LOL
  • He's a good addition where there's no responsibilty and no pressure. If someone makes the space or opposition players are tired/poorly positioned he might just do something.
