Startling bit of news in Karen Brady's column in the currant bun today, of the £4.8million paid to agents between Aug & Dec 08, Norwich, Saints & Charlton are responsible for over 20% of this!!!!
Assuming the figures Brady gives true (does she give a source?) and assuming that the figure is divided equally between the three sides (which it almost certainly won't be) that makes £320,000.
How much did we pay and receive during that time? Bougherra, Varney, Faye, McCarthorse, Hudson, Bailey, Spring etc.
So what's percentage of the total fees paid, including signing on fees went on agent fees?
She says it has come from the Football League annual Agent fee report, which I assume she is privvy to, no more detail than that, would be interesting to see the break down, and what chunk of that 20% we are in for, and for whom.

How does that percentage compare to other clubs?
She just states the figures are from the football league agents fee report.
I think it states last season our agents fees was £782,305.
