The Negativity

edited February 2009 in General Charlton
I have had enough of all the negativity...

We have had almost everyone commenting how well EVERYONE played and yet some still choose to nitpick.

All i can say is sort it out or you'll end up living a very sad life when you shoot down every positive thing that happens....

  • Good post! Totally agree.
  • I agree with you...we should concentrate on the last result and the next match, as such we have every right to be optomistic at the moment as our last match was a 2-0 victory where we could have scored more and our next match gives us an excellent chance to close more ground on those above us.

In fact if you look at our most recent form we have won 3 of our last 7 games and have been ahead in 2 of the 4 we have lost. If the players had a bit more beleif and consistency then we could still get out of this. They will get this from us, the crowd / fans, so lets get behind every one of our players, on this notice board and on the match days and make sure we play the rest of the season to our full potential no matter where that leaves us.

  • for once i whoehartedly agree.

that was probbaly the best game i've seen us play this season, apart from perhaps Reading, but even so there aere still people moaning about this player or that.

The last few games have shown the players have a bit of fight about them. Lets all stay positive and see how the rest of the season pans out. It looks like we are down so we have nothing to lose, have we /
  • My take on all of this is we may be too far gone to survive this division but how we play until the end of the season and the developing team spirit and understanding is at least as important as hauling ourselves out of a really deep hole. Next season, whatever Division, will be met with a much greater sense of exited anticipation if we finish this season strongly.
  • lol @ golfie

made me laugh we kept a clean sheet and someone still choose to moan about Darren Ward.

very true. 7 points is still a huge gap to make up but a good run in will at least encourage players, and fans, to stick around next season.
