Squad Restructuring

At the risk of being sunk without a trace as their may already be a thread on this:

I've spent a bit of time digging around the OS trying to work out when peoples contracts are up, here's what I found. The ones marked with ?? are my best guess. Anyone who knows any different, please let me know.

My view on squad restructuring would be, from those whose contracts are up at the end of the season I'd offer new ones to Wagstaff, Wright, Fortune and Randolph. I'd love to keep a few of the others but don't see how we could afford it.

Other than that I think we will try and "move on" Weaver, Sinclair, Christiansen and Gray. The worry is that we've failed to move on two of these four in this transfer window and those only on loan. Of the four I can only see us getting a fee for Gray, and would be pleasantly surprised if we got more than £500K for him.

If we start the season in League 1, then the pressure of high wages may mean we will have to "move on" some of the higher earners, which probably means no new contract for Fortune and bye bye to some of the current first teamers (Hudson, Racon, Semedo, Sam, Moots, Bailey, Youga, McLeod, even Spring or Burton)

The other option is to cash in on our most saleable asset in Jonjo

That's probably why I put myself firmly in the optimist camp at the moment. The alternative is just to depressing :-(
