Bit like Bradley Allen. He was stuck on 49 appearances for months before we let him go to Grimsby. Turned out we had to pay a lump to QPR if he made 50 appearances.

Same with Francis Jeffers as well wasn't it. Didn't we only pay £500k initially for him?

Dulwich will receive a £15,000 payment from Championship outfit Charlton, after former striker Chris Dickson made a long awaited start for his new club.

Dickson, who scored 31 goals in 35 appearances for Dulwich in the 2006/07 season, made the first eleven for his professional side last weekend against Burnley that will see much need money come the non-league clubs way.

The front man left Champion Hill in March 2007, signing a two and half year contract with the Addicks, for an initial fee of £35,000 and a further payment when he made his first league start.

Despite their poor league form, which sees Charlton rooted to the bottom of the table, Dickson had been frustrated with his lack of action that saw him slap in a transfer request.
If he had moved Hamlet are also entitled to 5% of any sell on fee, but instead no move occurred and his appearance at the weekend triggered another payment.

Hamlet chairman Jack Payne welcomed the cash, as lack of home fixtures has seen revenue has dried up at the club, but said it would not solve all their problems for the rest of the season.
He said: "The money will help out but of course but the unfortunate part is that lack of games mean cash is not coming from elsewhere. It will of course help out in the short term, but as all non-league clubs know once you pay one bill another one tends to pop up."

The budget has been tight at Champion Hill all season, but despite prudent cuts made in pre-season the players had to take another hit in their wage packets in the New Year as the cold snap froze pitches and cashflow.
Speaking about Dickson, Mr Payne was delighted he is finally making progress after being left frustrated on the sidelines for long periods at the Valley.

He added: "I'm pleased for Chris Dickson and its way beyond time. From the reports I have been getting he has done very very well, and I hope this is the start for him and he goes on to achieve and fulfil his potential."
Since joining Charlton Dickson has also been called up for international duty by Ghana, picking up his first cap in a friendly appearance against Tanzania last year.

15K - pathetic considering how good he can be...
