Severely thumped by a 14-year old wonder kid. My only consolation is that he thumped everyone else.
He scored over 100 points in each of his eight games and apparently only three people have ever done that in the 27 year history of the programme. Firmly installed as the No. 1 seed, get your money on Eoin Monaghan to win the series title.

OK, let me see if I can do justice to my day at Granada.
I didn't want to do a long, rambling summary of the day - although, believe me, every single detail is firmly in my memory. Predictably, it was an amazing day. But let me start with a few Riley highlights.
First of all - she is gorgeous. She is also totally aware of her sexuality and her effect on the male population of the UK. I think her job description at itv probably only contains two lines .... 'Look good' and 'Do the numbers'. Maybe three lines ... 'Look good', 'Do the numbers' and 'Look good again'.
Across the front of the studio there are a series of tv monitors hanging from the top. I think there is a camera trained exclusively on Ms Riley (a terrible job, I know, but somebody has to do it), and she uses one of those monitors to check that she is looking good at all times. So, it's fairly constant preening, smoothing, adjusting etc (you get the idea) ... all for the benefit of you, the viewer. I'll let you calm down for a few minutes now.0 -
