It is, same with Soares and Murty. Desperately trying to get players in with that bit more quality.
Getting them for a month, possibly being able to extend it another month or two isn't much good though.
Soares is a quality player who hasn't quite made it at Villa, Murty at 34 though and coming back from a long injury lay-off smacks of us being the useful fall guys to get him up to match fitness for Reading.
Not important but it's Stoke he hasn't made it at, big difference between struggling to get in Villa's side than Stoke's.
Might be a good player, but I still don't think it's worth it only for a month. Especially when we put him on the left wing.
Fair enough we might extend it, but by the time he settles he could go back to Stoke. If month loan signings don't play well straight away you can't exactly wait 4 or 5 games until they find their form.
