February Fun (from the OS)

On course for February fun

Schoolchildren across Greenwich, Bexley and Kent are looking forward to February half-term - and the latest series of football courses run across the South East by the Charlton Community Trust.

Bookings are now being taken for the sessions, with no fewer than 18 arranged over the space of five days from the week beginning Monday, February 16th.

And in addition to the trained coaches on hand to improve players' games, plenty of fun lies in store for youngsters aged between five and 15, with a number of prizes to win and goodie bags to be distributed.

What's more, there is always the chance one of Charlton's first-team players may come along to offer some advice and answer questions.

The courses, which also include special disability and girls only sessions, run from 10am-3pm unless otherwise stated, and application forms are available by calling 020-8850 2866.

Why spoil it for them !!!

Comments

  • All of my boys have been going to these courses since Brian Kinsey introduced them.....apart from him, never seen any players past or present......
    :-)
  • Bob boulder is a regular at the goalkeeping only courses apparently. Other than that, I've never known players to turn up
  • Maybe the plan is to send them for punishment this year? Put them in the stocks and let kids throw wet sponges at them?
  • Maybe the kids can teach them how to play football??
