Section 27

edited January 2009 in General Charlton
Well well well, the ob issuing apologies to Stoke fans offering them refunds etc after their w*nkerish behaviour when they played at United. You would have thought every force would have learned a lesson. However even after it was highlighted that the ob are in the wrong by doing this they still turn a minibus of Charlton fans round when they arrived at the ground yesterday.

Grade A **** that is all.

happening every week up and down the country, OB also forced a group of Bristol City home a few weeks ago when they had Wednesday away, it's a complete joke and the FSF are acting upon it claim by claim, big campaign just got under way
  • On what grounds did they turn them round ?
  • it's all to do with the ability for the OB to blanket a scene where they suspect there is a slight chance of a possibility that maybe something or someone might commit an offence. clues apparently include being male, being with other males and attending a football match, as well as breathing and often being in a drinking establishment.

I posted about the Stoke incident on another thread a while back, 80 of them got held in a Stockport pub for the entire duration of the game (4 hours in total), not one person banned, with form among them and no reports of threatening behaviour or even singing! They stopped off on a coach trip up to Manc out of the way for a quiet drink and I think only 6 so far have apologies and refunds as the OB only accept the claims individually.

    2 + 2 = 5 at it's best
  • Police State ?
  • I got stopped on a section 44 and had my van searched , for those of you not knowing what this is it's prevention of terrorism!
  • Not just turned round, but a police escort all the way out of yorkshire....... through red lights, stopping traffic the lot!!
If to be seen in 'yorkshire' again that day then they would be arrested!!

The crime, droping an empty can out the window or was it a bottle even the police got there version mixed up, and who spotted this, an off duty copper!! yeah right!?
  • amazing when you think what goes on on our streets everyday

Interesting, cheers for putting that up rothko, its a joke of a law that they are using far to redily and with little evidence.
  • I don't support the police actions here but the law states that it is illegal to carry alcohol and a coach / mini-bus traveling to a football game.
