We've had the Pardew out thread and now the Parky out thread.
I thought it was about time we had a come back Curbs thread, just in case the great man reads this board.
I for one refuse to throw in the towel, we are 8 points adrift. Two wins and we could be right back in with a chance. We have Racon and ZZ nearly back in contention. Any team in this division is capable of putting a few wins together.
We will never get those wins with Parky. The players made it clear yesterday that they are not prepared to battle for him. They must be sick of seeing Charlton players being pushed out by loanees who don't give a shit about the club, just as we the fans are.
The board should stop causing further damage by allowing Parky to bring in anymore players of his choosing, or selling any of our potential future assets such as Moo2 and Dickson. Pardew and Parky have done enough damage already, between them they have decimated our club. Enough is enough. We need to send out an SOS to Curbs even if it is only until the end of the season. Offer him a big bonus if he can keep us up. He said he is "hurting" watching our decline. Let's let the man know that we the fans would love him to come back, it may just persuade him to do so.

We have no money. He wont come back as we cant afford him.
On the basis that he is earning nothing at the moment, then it has to be a possibility.
The one thing appointing Curbs would do is get the fans back on side because he has earnt the respect. Most see it as a lost cause so if he doesn't manage to keep us up then thats life.
You can be sure of one thing the team would soon have structure and fight.
Hey ho not likey to happen.
From where I sit, I think they've wriiten this season off and are resigned to us being relegated (although naturally they hope we wont). How much more is it going to cost us to go down than to stay up with falling gate receipts etc. Well I've season a figure of around £3-4M quoted. Surely then they can structure an offer to another manager, Curbs would be my choice, around a relatively small upfront payment, and a large bonus if he keeps us up?
If that is not possible then the pot to p*ss in must be more of a thimble.
If he did come people would moan about his boring footballl like they did last time when we were in the middle of the Premiership.
Why would he subject himself to that?
Mind you good point there are bound to be some rear their heads if he came. Boring 1 - 0 win why don't we play 5 up front and sign Rooney.
Dont think our finances will stretch to that. Might have to use the same cab and pick Curbs up on root to dropping Parkinson off. Alternatively we could always just tell Al to buy a travelcard and claim it on expenses a'la Christian Gross.
