Would be horribly ironic if they go up and keep Izale, so that he starts next season in the championship and the players he wasn't good enough to play alongside for Charlton are all consigned to div one. And his former team MK Dons will probably be in the championship as well...
There's that pub in the Old Kent Road not that far from the Milwall ground called The World Turned Upsde Down... rather apt, perhaps...
[cite]Posted By: Ketman[/cite]Well when he misses chances for them like he did for us the natives will get restless & we can laugh about Agent Izale & all that :-)
Hopefully he gets them to the playoff finals and then has the decisive penalty.
He run's up - spoons it straight into the crowd and then lifts his shirt to reveal a Charlton shirt. He then kisses the badge and fires us into the premiership next season - while Millwall start a riot, get relegated and fined and fold

Will be interesting to see how he does, either recall him if he has a good run of scoring and gets his confidence up, or give him more games to see how he does in League One.
[cite]Posted By: LenGlover[/cite]Izale, like Chris Dickson, has never had a fair crack of the whip with us in my opinion.
In the few games he HAS played he has won more penalties than anybody in our history except "Paddy" Powell who played over 300 matches!
Ah the memories of Paddy pushing the ball past the defender and swallow diving into the back of him to the co-ordinated shouts of "penalty" from behind the goal.
He never did perfect the "clip your own heels" version though.
Millwall have a great chance of promotion and just like we did when we were fighting for a promotion place years ago and we brought in Bradley Allen to spice up our front line, so they are doing so now.
McLeod's salary will probably be quite heavy for a League One side - if Christensen is on 5K a week then it is fair to say Izale is on a bit more than that - and Millwall, given their motivation, are prepared to fork out an extra 100K or so to give themselves a chance of getting up.
With our financial problems, I think our Board would loan a player to anyone prepared to pick up the tab for a few months - if Millwall benefit and McLeod helps get them up, then so be it and we, as fans, just have to accept it even if we don't like it and what it might lead to.

Still think there is a decent player somewhere inside Supermac but will not be happy if he helps Millwall go up.
Maybe we could wait until he is crucial to their success and then recall him ; - )
Today Millwall
Tomorrow it will be Palace.
We shouldn't be helping them. End of.

Oh if only!!

He's not upto Championship level, would probably do well in Div 1. . . .
I'd love to know who scouted him at MK Dons and how many times Pardew actually saw him play live. £1.1m was a total joke.

£2m odd for Varney was a joke as it turned out but at least he was given a chance.
Spot on.
:)

Always first with the confirmed news
Yep sir indeedy!
Between 2 and 3 is me time! I'll sign off now and we'll make a move for Kaka!
Really think Izale will do well for them, sadly, but needs must!
Nothing personal, but i hope he has a shocker.
