Must say he has made the odd solid challenge at key moments but Kalou has ripped him to piss more than once.
Think our Osei is at his right level - so perhaps we should get him back ;-)
Seriously though, Peter Clarke is a centre back I would have thought we could be looking at. Quite fancied early in his career, England U-21, now only 27. Started at Everton.
Len, who was that old manager of ours in the 80s who used to sign old England U-21s who had lost their way???!!!!
Steve Mackenzie, Tommy Caton to name but two...
Is Parky the Sir Lennie of the new millennium....?
My Southend mate who goes everywhere with them, and is a positive character, reckons he is one of the worst players to ever play for them in recent history.

Osei or Clarke?
If it is Clarke it might explain why he is 'only' at Southend after showing early promise at the Toffees, but I know Blackpool were choked to see him leave a couple of seasons back...

Funny as I heard from a Southend fan that he and his dad both think Sankofa will be back in the Championship 18 months time. Meant to have broken into the team and replaced their other right back and was solid for them.
We were right to let him go, he wasn't good enough to play in the Championship yet and was too old to sit in the reserves. He might in a few years, if he does we can moan what a mistake it was like people do about Michael Turner.
he put in one wicked cross that cech made a superb save from. he hit the by line then boom whipped it in we aint done that for ages. However i have always thought Osei was not good enough to play in the prem not sure about now
My dad used to work with Adams dad, they were very good friends, and fair play to Adam, he is Southend born and bred, i think he had a couple of moves up north, and one to Bristol Rovers, but his heart was always at Southend and jumped at the chance to move back
