Just wondering what was the opinion of him from last nights performance and if he could start forcing his way into the team? With money so tight and our shortages on the wings it would be good if he can make the step up.
Not the best but have no objection to playing our yoof players & establishing whether they are first team material or not. Hopefully he will come good.
I also meant to add we had 9 academy players at Norwich last night, which although some may see this as a negative, i think it shows that the academy is still churning out decent footballers.
Never been impressed with him, but he's often looked nervous.
Thinking about it, if he becomes a good player for us, it'll be more like a hard working John Robinson type winger. He's not like Lloyd Sam or Jerome Thomas, doesn't seem particularly skillful, he's still quick like them, probably harder working though (definitely in the case of Thomas).

I'll take the John Robinson type all day and night!
sorry, just not up to it - too lightweight and needs beefing up a bit. Maybe ok for Div 2 , but cetainly not Championship or even for our stint in Div 1 next season.
Josh Wright looked ok and can see him and Shelvey forming a good partnership in centre midfield next season.

They should complement each other well, Wright's happy to sit back. Both good passers.
I'd like Racon to be a regular next season though, no reason Bailey shouldn't either, good if we keep Shelvey and have that sort of competition, whatever league we are in.
Parkinson believes youth product Wagstaff, who made four appearances last term, has now come of age.
He said: "I was very pleased for Scotty because he's a great lad who works really hard in training and in the reserves. We've been waiting for him to reproduce that when he gets a chance in the first team so this will do wonders for his confidence.
"It's such a bonus for me that another of our youngsters has come on and made a contribution. He gives us athleticism, especially when defenders get tired, and this will help him progress for the rest of the season.
"A couple of bad decisions were made with him last season. Maybe it was a case of him doing too much too quickly when he wasn't quite ready but in this game he showed everybody he is a good player although he still has a lot to do."
Always been under impressed with him, but give him credit he was very good on Saturday. Took his goal well, made a great run and gave the defence no time
He looked dangerous on Saturday. The goal will really give him confidence. I think this is great news. I can see him used as an injection of pace substitute for Sam. Sam will be told to give it his all for 60 minutes then Waggy comes on with the full back already knackered.
Thought he looked very good on Saturday. I particularly liked the way he: 1. Wanted to get involved - calling for the ball. 2. Found acres of space. 3. Took his goal confidently.

That was January 2009. A year later he showed what he was all about. Coming up another year on and he's now showing he can definitely be that "John Robinson type winger".
He has been fantastic in the last couple of weeks, really shows what hard work and endevour can do for a young player. His fitness levels are impressive- in fact it seems as though after years of watching Lloyd Sam he has learned a lot ie: how to graft for the team and how to last longer than 60minutes without being out of breath . No doubt benefited from gradual introduction to the first team and on current form looks like he could be a mainstay for a number of years- unless a bigger team comes in.
Could easily get upwards of 12 goals this season which would be an excellent return.

Where did you hear that, Chizz? If true, that's brilliant.
