who now thinks that the winless run has come to an end that it may just be the monkey off the back that everyone at the place needed.
i am viewing sheff wed away as a far eaiser fixture than it was 24 hours ago, our run coincided with what has to be described as some of the worst performances i have seen but also some of the worst luck i have witnessed.
i was saying similar to Fatrob on saturday that nothing falls for us in the area ours or the opponents, we have had games where loose balls that have taken deflections hit posts and come off of keepers are falling straight to oposition players, and when it happens to us it falls to a player who strokes it home, it was suggested taht some of that isnt bad luck it is poor defending or tracking back, and to a point i accept that but there must be an elemant of good and bad fortune to that, we have had 3 or 4 games where we should have had 1 or 2 pens in a game yet you always have the feeling that if they happen to the other teams attckers then a pen would be given.
I aint looking for excuses i am looking at reasons to be positive going in to the last 20, if the players had been feeling this if the club had this cloud of misfortune over it then maybe this is just what the doctor ordered.
we are not dead the life support machine is still on (just)
i just pray that the monkey has gone heres to hope and good fortune
come on you Reds
