Hey, we've got a game tomorrow...

edited January 2009 in General Charlton
Suddenly realised that in our continued mourning following Saturday's hammer blow and the light relief provided by Richard Murray's wryly amusing interview in the SLP , we have barely discussed the fact that we've got a cup game v Norwich tomorrow!

Another all-change starting XI it seems, although hardly Parky's fault with McClever,Murty, Spring and Semedo all out for reasons beyond his control. Plus Holland to play at CB "ahead of Hudson and Fortune" according to the OS, although I'm assuming they mean 'either/or' rather than 'and'...

So probably only six of Sat's starting XI to play tomorrow night. And there were five changes on Saturday v Forest from the previous weekend. Can't help feeling some stability would be welcome, although, as I say, most of tomorrow's changes are not Parky's call...

  • it said in front of those two.
  • Personally, given how well he played at centre back against Norwich in the original cup tie, I would play him there again instead of Hudson. In fact, I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't...
  • Prepare to be disappointed then!

I'd like to see Wright, Bailey, Sam and Holland in midfield with Shelvey in the hole and Dickson up front

Back four of Basey, Fortune, Reserve Centre Half, Mouatakil

    Elliot in goal
  • Why not, if Norwich were wearing numbers only 1-11 then we could play Yado Mambo at centre half and Delia could say and for Charlton it's Mambo number 5

No seriously Todorov should not start this game but give Dickson a game and Gray up top with Shelvey in a proper midfield
  • Parky should play Dickson from the start and say PROVE ME AND PARDEW WRONG.
  • Surely he should give Dickson 90 minutes from the start and then we can at least put the Dicko argument to the bed to some extent at least.

If he does and the man pops in a couple this place will be mayhem tomorrow!!
  • Please play Dickson the full 90. West Brom last year remember....
