A poem about our plight

edited January 2009 in General Charlton
When Things go wrong
as they some times will,
when the roads you're trudging
seems all uphill,
when the funds are low,
and the debts are high,
and you want to smile,
but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit...
rest if you must - but dont you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
and you never can tell how close you are,
it maybe near when it seems so far,
so stick to THE FIGHT when you're hardest hit....
it's when things go wrong,
That you mustn't quit

Really says it all i think!

    It's by John Greenleaf Whittier.

We should lock the players in a dark room and play it at full volume for 5 or 6 days.
  • when i was out of work last year i read that every morning
  • If we're going to play music to the players, may I suggest 'you fucked up' by Ween as a better suggestion?
  • it's worked for me too Kap, really helps motivate...
