[cite]Posted By: jdsd42[/cite]He was part of the deal with VARNEY going to Derby..and did you see how VARNEY behaved when Derby scored against us...not someone who was on Loan only...
Mind you ..can not believe the board forgot to get him blocked to play against us-as derby did with their player.
I agree Shelvey will be off-loaded--and we will loan him back till the end of the season becuase if we go down he will not be worth as much --.
Funny how the directors have not been walking round the ground of late....clapping and waving to us.!!!! kinda miss them ....
Varney was loan to permanent with the deal already agreed and he signed 1st January.
McEverly was NOT part of the Varney deal. McEverly would have played against Derby but he was injured.
Did anyone think that MvEveley looked to have any trouble on Saturday? Nicky Weaver - saw the fall that hurt his hip but are we being sold a line here? He seemed to be training OK after that incident. Keeping Parkinson - none of it makes any sense. Aren't we just reducing salaries, the board having accepted relegation as inevitable? It really is time now for the board to be straight with us IMO?

A guy on BBC's 606 was sayign he had it on good authority that the board have given up hope of staying up and a gearing up for League 1 next year
Not entirely sure I believe it but it certainly seems this way sometimes

What's the point? If they came out and denied that line by line it would be dismissed as spin.
We know McEverly had a shoulder injury. We all saw it occur. He went back to Derby for a while then returned. Has it got worse or returned ? Who knows?
Some people refused to believe that ZZ had a foot injury saying it was him being kept in cotton wool so he could be sold on 1 Jan. But he's not been sold so maybe, just maybe he was injured along and that is holding up the deal.
One thing that i can see thats positive in a way is that Parkinson is getting in players who know the 1st division. not like Pards who got players in who didnt know the championship and english football. see Parkinsons programme notes he mentions this but not pards name.
I don't think anybody doubted ZZ has been injured, the speculation surrounded him regaining his fitness just when the transfer window opened and whether those two things were coincidental. Rather like Andy Reid's injury which cleared up just in time to be sold to the Mackems and go straight into their team.
I'm sorry to see Mcevely go because he has done well.
I may be alone in this but I like Youga. One thing is for sure he won't be anonymous and if he can get his post Scunthorpe form back he could freshen things up in a positive way.

I agree with u Len but he's a massive confidence player and, like most, he has none at the moment. Doubt Parky will play him unless he really has to.

I don't have a problem with Youga or for that matter moot2, I think it's a question of how you play them.
I'd give them licence to play an attacking game and go with a midfield diamond, with Semedo sitting just in front of the back 4 to offer cover and shelvey just behind the strikers.

When he came into the team this time last year he was playing well, plenty of confidence and although he can't cross, got forward and supported the attack well.
LOL....Just read in the Sun this morning that he injured his shoulder again by tripping up a step at the O2 at the Chris Brown gig, so not only has he got an injury, he has a bad taste in music as well......you couldn't make it up at the moment, unbelievable
Who was it years ago with the salad cream bottle???
Rock Spectacle told me one a few weeks back (in complete confidence, so I wont divulge) which involved 3 players a few years back, and how one of them got injured, all very strange, but my lips are sealed , lol

I did work out a team of loanees a while ago. It would be even better now. Though we've not had a keeper on loan yet.
Technically Gray and Spring were on loan, so they could play before the move went through permanently.
I think Lita missed himself

You should know that by now:-)
Let's hope ZZ is fit enough to be sold cos much as a rate him I think we need the money more and he'll be off on a free in the summer.

I have been impressed with McEverly - very underrated by Derby and has been doing a very solid job for us.
Sigh .....
Dicko's last year was quite amusing.
Also wasn't it Vassell who decided to deal with an ingrown toe nail with a power tool?
