the credit crunch, football, the transfer window and come 1st feb

will banks start pulling the plug on clubs with big debts and a depreciating mortgaged land asset ?...i wonder if in the present financial climate there are clubs out there that really need to sell this window to stop the banks pulling the rug...there could be a few going into admin and having points deducted...now there's a positive thought for a team at the bottom of the league that needs to catch up points wise...

  • Think our land will still be pretty valuable considering it's location and the impending olympics etc. If such an event were to occur it certainly wouldnt only be us that were affected more likely every club outside the richest clubs in the premiership. So even in the worst case scenario if football were to financially implode then 99% of clubs would be in the mire and on a level playing field.
