Funny as Sir Maurice has been on the board for years but has only just made the rich list. Someone's research maybe not as good as it could be perhaps.

I sat on the table next to his at Curbishley's testimonial lunch. His table were bidding thousands for the stuff that was coming up in the auction and us lot barely had enough to stick in a tenner a man for the raffle.
Until that is one of our chaps won the "heads or tails" game - for those that were there - and we shared the £500 jackpot out amongst us!
It says here he owns Andrew Sykes Air conditioning, is that the same company that sponsored us and we're Charlton fans?
Yeah it is, Paul Wood was the Managing Director and was a Charlton fan, he sadly passed away last year. He was the connection to the club, their head office is in Charlton.

And the Sunday Times Rich list had him down as being worth £40m but what's £10m between friends ; - )
