No keeper in first team games has scored but ALBERT UYTENBOGAARDT did score for the 'A' team in a game against Folkstone on 7/10/50... when his long punt upfield was being chased by Eddie Firmani who distracted the keeper who missed the ball which ended up in the net with Firmani who brought the posts down..... just looked it up in the Valiant 500 book
Surely it's Steve Brown (and by the way, why we haven't asked him to join the coaching team, I'll never know).
Where do I collect my prize?
I'm supposed to be covering the game today. My garden is a mile and a bit from the ground, and it looks like it'll be frozen for a month, while the paths are icy. We must have magic army blankets on that pitch, or else Steve Bennett found it easier to postpone games at the small clubs than he did at the larger one, and he's leaving the match referee to break the bad news today.
Browny on Radio London speaks about our club the same way we do, he has openly stated i would love to come and help MY club, surely there is room for him
Browny we love u mate hassle the life out of them until they take you in from the cold

Brown was a coach at West Ham under Pardew so is clearly "tainted" by that : - )
Didn't he also have a coaching job at Charlton but left it for a better paid one at West Ham. Money grabbing Traitor ; - )
PS See how easy it is to spin things one way or the other.
There is a Charlton goalkeeper who has scored. And, it is John Hewie. He played 3 (I think) games in goal when he was usually an outfield player. He certainly played at home to Plymouth Argyle and played pretty well except for one juggle where he dropped and caught the ball 3 times. From memory, he played for Charlton in all 11 shirt numbers, although the more pedantic would point out that he didnt actually wear a 1 on his back in goal.
So, he never scored whilst in goal, but he is a Charlton goalie who has scored.

Hope not, but fear it might work out like that...

Rob Elliott has a fair old kick on him and with the ground being hard, now the time to do it.

He scored for Swindon though
He scored a few....
