Boss's son , who is a palarse supporter talking to me about the current state of things with us, how bad things are, etc. then right at the end says "gotta be honest I'm not the slightest bit sad for you", then fecks off.

I can honestly say I've never disliked Palace either.

Just everybody who has played for them, worked for them or supported them. And their ground. And their name. Other than that, no problem at all.
