Defoe Sickened by Threats

You can't condone threats - but Defoe obviously has a bad memory. How can he think his former clubs fans - probably Spurs aside - can look on him favourably when he jumps ship at the first chance. Yes, footballers careers are short, but most average fans don't earn in 15 years what they earn in 6 months. He needs to understand what supporting a club is all about then he might get more credit when he moves clubs.

  • For God's sake leave him alone. Pathetic.
  • "I have absolutely no idea how they got hold of my number but some of the calls have made me sick to my stomach," he told the Sunday Mirror.
"I have reported it to officials at the club, but cannot accept that it is coming from people with a balanced state of mind.

I'm not sure he's quite worked out how to use the word "but" in a sentence......?
  • I honestly couldn't give two monkeys ABOUT Defoe - he was a kid at Charlton ffs and was easily swayed. The pompey fans should be ashamed of themselves - granted be unhappy about it and show that at the games by booing or something but to personally threaten by phone etc is bang out of order and will do nothing but definitely drive him out of Portsmouth and give him the perfect excuse now - not that he needs one.

As Spanish says - but he's just one of those scum bag footballers who doesn't give a shit about the supporters and never will.
  • If he was genuinely sickened then at least he really did have some sickness over the weekend. He's brought it on himself to be honest. There's a point when it all catches up to you.
