Owain Tudor-Jones

edited January 2009 in General Charlton
SSN saying that Us, Bristol City, Southampton, Millwall & MK Dons are all in for him.

Centre midfielder.

Don't know alot about him other than he has been out for nearly two years and now can't get in the Swansea side.

Given the geography involved he's most likely to end up Bristol City I would have thought.

  • One in a long line of double-barrelled surnames, although a rarity in days gone by - much more common now.........

Ian Storey-Moore, Forbes Phillipson-Masters & Peter Rhoades-Brown were early pioneers
  • Blimey, for a minute, I thought you ment the old radio bloke who used to cover the Wlling games!!!!!!!!!
  • sounds like a waste of time to me. as you say, SSN article says he's been injured for nearly 2 years nd not had any signif first team football since returning earlier this season so lacking match practice. he might well be a decent player in th long-term but we haven't got time to piss about with 'might come off' signings' anymore, we need people who are gonna make an instant impact rather than more bloody squad players. anyway centre mid is low priority for us, desperately need more competition for centre backs nd someone who can score goals (or play dicko) since we have limited money to spend anyway.
  • We've had a few double barrell named players for Charlton........

Carl Bloody- Leaburn, Kevin Bloody- Lisbie, Luke Bloody- Varney etc etc
