I've not heard a word, but has Linvoy Primus already gone back to Pompey?

If so, we down to only 6 loanees now, and with MacCleverly inured, we can play all the remainder against Queers Park Rangers.

We're almost looking like a proper team again.

    Another week, another few names in the frame for the Charlton Athletic manager's job.

    Phil Parkinson has two more goes probably - QPR at home on Boxing Day and Sheffield United away on Sunday - to win his first match and stake his claim, but after two draws and four defeats, it seems he has about as much chance of landing the job as Howard Webb has of receiving a Christmas card from Arsene Wenger.

    So now The Sun are saying Paul Ince is being lined up after his dismissal at Blackburn.

    Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope has ruled himself out, however. Speculation suggested that he was to form a dream-ticket partnership with former Charlton manager Lennie Lawrence, who is director of football at Rovers. "We've got a job to do here and we have a huge amount of unfinished business," said Trollope.

    Meanwhile Charlton will have to face QPR without defender Linvoy Primus, who has returned to Portsmouth after 10 games on loan.
