For what its worth I had a really vivid dream last night that I smuggled Paolo Di Canio off a plane at Heathrow Airport with a cream coloured jumper wrapped around his head so people would not recognise him.
In my dream I thought I was taking him to The Valley to take over as our new manager but when we got to the terminal at Heathrow there was a red-faced Alex Ferguson waiting with open arms to take Paolo away as his new signing for Man United.
Oh well, it was a nice little dream.

I was thinking this morning that maybe an avuncular, experienced bloke like Joe Royle could come in to steady the ship.
We could do and have done much worse.
Then we had Alan Pardew, the Carb-uncle figure.
Joe Royle, whether he's your mother's brother or not ....... nope, not for me.
