how so? I just think he's saying the next month or so could make or break our season, if we don't pick up some points fast we are rapidly going to find ourselves too far adrift of the pack to avoid relegation.
[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]despite the Curbs thing the Parky story on the OS makes it sound more and more like he's going to get the gig permenantly.
If hes picked up zero points between now and new years I doubt it.....
a positive new year for Charlton? Unfortunatly i doubt it the trends to steep were in recession 1929-style. However i do think Parky should stay i like the fellow he seems solid and does'nt make promises he can't keep unlike Mr.Pardew.
The only way this is gonna turn round is, new manager, major cash injection and plenty of players, I wonder how the men in suits are gonna manage that, Parky does come across well but its just not happening.
“We still hope in the second half of the season to go on a run. Crystal Palace have gone on one recently and pushed themselves right into play-off contention, so things can change very quickly.”

I feel sorry for Parkie, decent guy, by most accounts, seems to know what he is doing, but does not have the resource s to implement it, so unfortunatly now is probably the time to get someone in who has no history of the last two years and no pre existing relationship with the players. Familiarity breeds contempt and maybe the players are too familiar with parkie

mentioned that there are people watching the next few games ( as in takeover)
and I read his comments about palace making the playoffs as hugely positive ....
maybe he knows something we don't (see other thread about gambling or something)

But hey I am depressed at the mo, tomorrow I probably will see it in a more positive light
WRONG! As in administrators.
aint that the truth.......
Hes our of his fecking mind....... (unless we have a massive money buyer and some managerial genius in the wings)

Standard "rally the troops" fare.
