  • at least we were 5th
  • Andy Reid was sold our only playmaker and the rest is history.
  • If it was this year we'd be well adrift

But dont forget this is dated 31st Dec 2007, we have 3 more games before we reach that date this year.
  • I'm more intrested in the bottom of the table - neither Preston nor Sheff Wed got relegated, so there's hope for us yet.... ;-)

Are they my rose-tinted spectacles I've just caught you wearing, Weegie .... ?

    :o)
  • We were only 12 months into pards 2 year plan. ;-0)

    24 Southend United 26 18
  • Southend, Luton and Leeds fell through the trapdoor that season.

And Leeds made a fair fist of a fight for safety until the penultimate match (before the administration fiasco).

Where's my rose-tinted specs, somebody borrowed them ....?
Ah, found them. At this stage, there's plenty of opportunity to escape the noose.

    ;o)
  • Sponsored links:

  • I nicked them back from Pardew, Ogs - glad I've returned them to their rightful owner now ;-)
  • Thanks, Weegie, I've been looking everywhere for them.

I was beginning to sound like Golfie and OoooohAaaagh!

    ;o)
  • I thought Palace were at the lower end this time last season?
We cant use their optimism from that!
  • The Palace analogy as a cause for optimism has never really worked because Jordan took decisive action very early and brought Warnock in after just ten games. So by the time of the table reproduced above with Palace in seventh place, Warnock had already been in charge for 15 games - and as you can see, he'd had time to make a fairly dramatic impact.
  • Parky wernt it?
