Got to be the worst pint of London Pride I have tasted in many a year. My old Dad must be turning in his grave at the demise of his favourite watering hole (actually he was cremated, but you know what I mean!)
went there last tuesday. mate was drinking lager, asked me to get him a stella, this was about 7pm.
barman: "sorry mate, run out"
me: "can he have a kronie then pls?"
barman: "nope, ran out"
me: "fosters then i spose"
barman: "no problem, anything else?"
me: "white wine pls"
barman: "what type?"
me: "medium if possible"
barman :"we've only got dry"
me: "erm, dry then I spose".
I'm sure there are better ways to run a pub. went to bartrams this week.
It's a disgrace Suzi, how does the fella ever think he is going to sell that place. The takings must be way down from three years ago. Not a scooby on how to run a pub!
Have been going to the Liberal club of late (but no real ale) apart from bottles and to be honest The Oak is more convenient, but after that dishwater last night it's back to the bottles in the Liberal club from now on!
