Should of kept Sam and Waghorn on

edited December 2008 in General Charlton
Bouazza was the player to come off, put sam on that wing and keith on the right. Waghorn was still up for it. Again Bailey gives away too many balls in the middle of the park for my liking

They were fecked - both of them rang their socks off all game.

Burton offers more in terms of holding the ball up and defending the lead, Gillespie has the experience and nous how to see out a game.

Can't blame the substitutions i'm afraid just gash luck.
  • I agree WSS. They were both finished when they were taken off; their legs had gone. Both played superbly though. Well done to both of them.

Certainly did - loved the little bit when ball was coming to him Derby defender rushed at brished him with a feather and down he went -
  • Waghorn had basically stoppd chasing....he was knackered.

Can't have a go at the subs other than Bouzza should have been taken off for anybody.
  • The rush he got after scoring his first ever goal will have taken a lot out of him!
  • he also got a knock early on from that cheat powell.....
  • Waghorn had a dead leg from when powell took him out early on he was lucky to come back out for the 2nd half, both subs were right IMO Sam had put his best ever display in an addicks shirt and was pooped

cant blame owt for the result on that we need to defend better it was poor marking and apoor header that cost us the goal nothing else
  • loved Waghorn's reaction to scoring... the boy really cared some
