And I still feel sick.

It's a well worn phrase but, it's not the despair that gets you, it's the hope.

  • All too reminiscent of the Prem relegation season for me - thats my overiding feeling this morning.

    Its going to be close.
  • I've been reflecting on this all afternoon whilst lazing on the beach. At least it happened half way through the season. Imagine how we would all feel if it was now right at the end of the season with no time to recover.
A win in itself last night would not be enough to escape relegation. What we need until the end of the season is greatly improved performances and far greater levels of determination, effort and passion. I think last night was a great start in this respect. So I take solace in the performance rather than the result. If we continue to play like that, I'm confident that the wins will come and we will pull ourselves out of this mess.
  • QA - IF we can continue to perform as well, then we must surely pull ourselves out of this mess. Can they do it consistently week in week out? Let's just hope they can.
  • Millwall Palace & Gillingham all score in injury time this weekend we concede, life & particularly football can be cruel !
  • The problem i've got is that every time we turn in a decentish performance we follow up with a totally inept one next time and we're back to square one.

I hope that changes in Farmer Country.
  • Consistency is the key BDL. But it wasn't just the teams performance that I found encouraging, I though Parky also did a great job.
The man is obviously thinking deeply about the balance of the team and players whose styles will complement each other like Gray/Waghorn. That makes such a change from Pardew who was just clutching at straws an hoping for the best.
