Following comments from Chris Coleman and Gary Johnson another has a dig before tonights game.......
" We've had a bit of an up and down season but our fans have been great. They (CAFC) are really struggling and whilst I have nothing against the club I want to help keep them down there. It's no secret the crowd down there are very quick to get on the player's backs early on and we intened to make that the case on Monday Night.
"It does make me laugh though, some so called football fans have very short memories. Maybe it's a London thing, you hear the same thing about West Ham and Spurs.
"I hope to be hearing the Boos fairly early, from the home fans at least."

Look at most of the teams around us, and in the divisions 3 & 4, and you'll find plenty of ex-prem teams.
Okay, I agree things are very poor at the moment, but look at Oldham, Bradford, Leeds and others;
I think -at the moment- we are better off than these teams, and (a big) IF we do somehow find ourselves back in the Premiership within the next 2/3 years (Stop laughing at the back) we will again be talking about improving the ground capacity up to 40,000. As I keep repeating , 16 years ago we were Back at the Valley with 8,000 supporters, and that dropped off after afew games. Just think where we've all been since then.
Who said we can't do it all again ?
Tell me, Could we ?
Would we ?

All 3 who have said are bang on the money and you know it. I 'd call it good management.
Maybe Parky should use this to motivate our lot.
"see lads even the fat scouse bin dipper is taking the piss now. let's go out there and show him and get the crowd behind us early - score an early one and let's go"
:-)))
What like Liverpool fans booing their team after a home draw which put them top of the Premier league?
Should we sit there and clap???
lazy feckers still dressed!
Should we sit there and clap???
We have a long way to go to reach a point where we are playing the worst football I've seen by a Charlton side.
Regarding the booing etc it seems we've now got a reputation for getting on the backs of the players if we aren't winning and that gives our opponents something to aim for. While I don't advocate turning a blind eye to poor displays there are more constructive ways of showing displeasure.
lost me here, what demo ??
How about we stitch together a 'your not very good' blanket during the match and hold it up at the end?
That's pretty constructive?
The Demo by fans tonight before & after game apparently, Club are aware of it, was gonna go down & watch rather than go pub pre-game. Think they are taking advantage of the fact SKY are there tonight to voice their Concerns !
over 20,000 paying customers per league game.
oooooooooo sh+t people are a tad pissed off whyyyyyyy the f**k would that be ?
Maybe they believed the morons who said how much better it would be without Curbishley and then bought into another crazy idea that the football would be better in lower divisions. They are probably more pissed off with themselves though, for listening to people who just haven't got a clue with regards to football.
Can't blame him though really.Have you seen his missus? More creases on her face than a paper aeroplane and a body like an obese hippo!
But GH, these opposing managers are saying that our crowd is opponents teams motivation.
They can't wait to play at The Valley because they know our crowd will destroy the atmosphere, destroy their own team.
"It's no secret the crowd down there are very quick to get on the player's backs early on and we intened to make that the case on Monday Night.
"I hope to be hearing the Boos fairly early, from the home fans at least."
Jewell couldn't say it more clearly.
They can't wait to play at The Valleybecausethey know our crowd will destroy the atmosphere, destroy their own team.
Oggy - GH is right - if we hadn't been served up a load of tripe for the last 2 seasons there would be nothing for the boo-ers to boo about! The crowd have been pretty understanding in my opinion. We've paid, we've seen rubbish - what again, as I have said before - should we do - go home happy and continue to allow the poor efforts on the pitch be made known it's fine to do ?....
Even the Chairman stormed into the dressing room after the last game (allegedly!) - does he not have a right either?...
in the last 6 seasons how many home games have we won ? Ok how many home games in the last 100 games have we won ?
its all down to the fans -------------not shit players-----------bad tactics-----------awfull attitudes------------managers having total black outs-----------its the fans.
how many actually boo ? 100 ? 500 ? 1000? why the f**k dont the other 20,000 encourage then ???????????????????????/ if its that vital.
why dont win our away games then no one booing there
But that isn't really Jewell's point. Nor mine.
His point is ........ he can't wait to play at The Valley because he knows the crowd will turn against it's own team.
And he uses it to his advantage in motivating his own team.
What did Jewell actually say? Read it again:
"It's no secret the crowd down there are very quick to get on the player's backs early on and we intend to make that the case on Monday Night.
"I hope to be hearing the Boos fairly early, from the home fans at least."
The fans only boo early because we're normally 3-0 down in the first 20 minutes!!!!!!!
