My Dream - Would You Take It?

edited December 2008 in General Charlton
Dreamt last night that we didn't get another point all season. That's right, we couldn't even scrape out a nil nil bore draw. I was happy though because we won the FA Cup. I don't remember getting past Naaritch but we must have because we drew 2-2 at Old Trafford in the ¼ finals before they were disqualified for cheating (against us) giving us a bye leading to a 1-0 win at Anfield (we didn't complain that the semi wasn't on neutral territory). In the final we beat Cardiff 1-0 in the most boring final in living memory.

I'd take it like a shot. Would you?

Don't know what it was about, but something tells me there's more chance of yours becoming real (well not the 0 points bit).
  • But would you keep the 0 points, lose to Norwich in the FA Cup, get relegated have a crack at Div 1, and all so that you could go for the big one, oh yes the Johnsons Paint Trophy. Now how good would that look in the world famous Charlton Athletic trophy cabinet. I HAVE A DREAM!!!!!
  • The Johnsons Paint Trophy .......?

Well, at least it would be something. The trophy cupboard is looking a bit bare at the moment.

PS: Just imagine if we had actually beaten Blackburn to lift the Full Members Cup.
What a day that would have been.........

    ;o)
  • Plus if we went down we could look forward to winning a lot more games next season.

    ...Haha!
