Would also stop the taker stealing yards as he would just be moving closer to the wall.

Give sprays to the linos as well, they can mark where a throw should be taken from.

  • Good idea that.
  • When i first saw the story i thought they meant pepper spray :)
  • Good idea could work quite well.
  • Only when we play palace.
  • Could it be, that someone has been using it on our back four?

Same here, wouldn't put anything past the south americans - total nutters where football is concerned
  • The F.A would never go for it anyway, in their book aerosol would come under the heading of 'new technology'.
  • "Pablo Silva says he invented the spray and got the idea when he failed to score with a free-kick.

"In the 88th minute, we were losing 1-0 and won a free-kick on the edge of the area. When I took the kick, the wall was three metres away," the amateur player told Reuters earlier this year.

"The referee didn't book anyone and didn't do anything," he said.

"We lost the game, and driving home later, with a mixture of anger and bitterness, I thought that we must invent something to stop this."

If only our players were as determined and passionate.......
