    Won't be long until more people are moaning that McLeod is lazy and can't score, compared to Varney who worked hard but couldn't score.

    He had no service but Varney would have done a lot more in that game than McLeod did.

    problem with VArney was simply his finishing.

    the rest of his game, workrate, build-up play, running the channels was fine

    agree with Scoham - another 90 minutes from McCLown like Tues and we'll be wishing we had Varney back

    let's hope we get Todorov and Gray up front up Monday with some midfielders who can burst into the area to benefit from their link-up play; what we wouldn't give for a fit ZZ right now

    Sorry thats crap, hughes did not try 90 minutes every game.

    Varney may have run for 90 minutes, but he was bought as a striker.
