  • blimey - 2 shots, whatever team is out it does not get any better.
  • full time yet ?
  • Boos at the final whistle - and who can blame them?
  • Well that was fun. Good night all.
  • Oggy we need a positive -------------any ?

    other than we wernt there
  • Can we afford to wait to see whether he can get a win on Monday before action is taken?
  • Haven't won at the Valley for 40 years. That's why they was 2/1. I thought that price was quite excessive.

We are an embarassment. I can't believe what is happening to this club at the moment. The board have to pull their finger out before christmas and try and sort this mess because there's not even a spot of light at the end of our tunnel at the moment.
  • Absolutely woeful. What else can you say? We need a miracle now. I just can't see how we are going to turn this around now.

  • Let us wait til the guys and gals who went, to the game, come on here. I guess it is not going to be pretty.

    Roll on Derby.

Anyone who predicts a win v Derby?

    Just don't
  • Erm I do!

We have to win again sometime why not at Derby ;o)
  • I think I may have to try to keep this man flu going until at least Monday. God, I really can't face going to the Valley to see us lose to Derby live on TV on a freezing cold Monday night. Parky = Les Reed. Nice bloke but totally ineffectual. We have some pretty serious problems at the moment but nothing seems to be changing.
  • Nice to see Droylsden get a draw after being a goal up previously (just to change the subject).
  • I can't help feeling that Zabeel have caused huge problems for us. Everyone was obviously gearing up for the sale, and focussing on that. So when it all went pear shaped, we seem to have been left with no idea how to get back to managing the day to day problems with the club.
  • Goodbye Parkinson, I think.

He seems a good bloke but he needed a response from the players to get the job and we have 1 point from 12.

I know four games is not a lot but, seriously, apart from a 0-0 home draw with the Saints (who Palace just thumped 3-0) what improvement has there been, really?

He made a statement by dropping Holland in favor of younger players and then brings him back tonight?

The whole thing is just so, so sad.

Messrs Dowie and Pardew have an awful lot to answer for in bringing us to this terrible position.
  • Just got back - all in all, it was pretty awful and for me in many ways was worse than the Sheff Utd game.

I was previously quite confident that we would move towards mid-table, but whichever players we seem to play, we just can't seem to get it right.

Unfortunately the last thing we need now is another home game, and especially live on the TV.
  • maybe that'll be it, the changing moment?

Yeah, it's bad enough the CCC teams knowing we're a soft touch and an easy 3 points.

But on Monday, the whole world will know we're hopeless.

    :o(
  • ahh but maybe it will be JT syndrome they all play out of their skin and we win 2-0. but as they aren't jt they realise their ability and we all live happily ever after....

  • Goonerhater .......positives? Tonight I'm a spent force.

Let's see what tomorrow brings, eh?
  • As for the official site's front page story and the description of Coventry's free kick 'from 20 yards' - make it more like 30 or 35.

We have now beaten the relegation run of 11 games without a win in the Premiership. God the Premiership feels so long ago now. How much more are we expected to endure of this?
  • Erm maybe this doesn't look good!

Worst league performance i can remember for so many years.
  • Dreadful performance tonight, depressing to watch. Can't see where the next points are coming from with the present team. Didn't join in with your not fit to wear the shirt, by then I really couldn't be bothered. Will i be there in the freezing cold next Monday, probably, we have been here before and got through it.

    And generally speaking, we have.
