'The result left Phil Parkinson's side at the foot of the Championship table - the first time in more than 12 years the Addicks have been at the bottom of the second tier.'
Has it really only been 12 years. Thought it was a lot longer than that to be honest.

I stopped getting it as well ...
so did I at work but was still receiving it at home. My mate gets it at work and copies and pastes it to me. Must remember to sign up again.
We were 23rd after losing to Pompey away on 12 October (crowd of 6641 no idea how many Charlton Oohahh) and then lost again midweek away to Sheff Utd 0-3. The Rothmans doesn't give a league position for midweek games but we were still 23rd after drawing 3-3 with Bolton at home the next Saturday in front of (11,091 which was pretty close to our average crowd that year) so I guess that was the week that was.
Team chosen by boss Alan Curbishley v Bolton was Salmon Stuart J, Rufus, Leaburn, Robinson, Whyte D, O Connell, Kinsella, Chapple, Brown, Sturgess. subs Balmer, Allen, Lisbe.
For the record it was a Whyte, a former loan player BTW, who scored twice while Chapple, who also scored was sent off and Rufus gave away a penalty. We were 3 - 1 up at HT
We were still as low as 19th on 1 march when we lost to Swindon. We then beat QPR and Palace at home and finished, as Pilchard said, 15th.
So the common factors with being bottom then and being bottom now are Chapple and Kinsella.
I think we might have been circa 1996 - the season after Bowyer left and before Super Clive joined. I seem to recall we bumped along in the relegation places fora while.
Till March anyway.... ;-)
Can't blame poor old Parky, then,? lol
Remember that Bolton match, they clogged us for 90 minutes.
Referee all but lost the plot. 1 sent off and 8 booked.
