I went over my Mums' this afternoon, I had the radio on in her kitchen on Radio London, it was about 4:30, she is 73, she knows what Charlton means to me, her ex husband (my Dad) and her now long departed father in law (my grandfather) and when it came up we were 2-0 down, she turned to me, without me saying a word or reacting to the announcement of the scoreline, she said to me:-
"Son, they need you now more than ever..."
I almost cried.
I have nothing more to say other than she is so right, stand up and support the club we love.
I can't do some long winded eloquent impassioned plea to you all, I ask but one thing, think about what has been said above, and think about what it means to you all as individuals, and let's react as one, for this is when we are strongest.
