How long will it go on....

edited December 2008 in General Charlton
In reality, over the season nothing has changed.

The majority agreed that Pardew had lost any idea of how to manage the team, and with Parkinson temporarily taking charge, you would think he'd put in everything to try and get the job permanently.

We went to QPR who were playing really badly and we heard such great comments about how things were gonna change. We all got excited and...... LOST.

We played home to Southampton and everyone said it's a must win game. They let in loads of goals blah blah blah. We DREW 0-0.

Then today I read many jokers on here who had clearly seen something I hadn't, in saying we'd go up to Blackpool and win. Well Blackpool were useless at home, so guess what..... we LOST.

Any side struggling must rub their hands together at playing "easy" Charlton.

Cant see us getting any more points before Christmas. Can't see us getting 35 points all season.

Comments

  • was parkinson at west ham with pardew, same ideas, same drivel, same result..
  • We need a new man in charge- a fresh face who won't be scared of making wholesale changes and getting rid of the deadwood.
  • we need someone to come in and knock out one of our players as an example of what he is prepared to do to save this club for administration....

    I hate this...

    seeing our club die
  • I think amongst other things this loan business has got totally and utterly out of hand. We select a squad of which 5 are loans and we have two other loan possibilities to consider. We have 7 players who give or take the odd couple probably care nothing for the plight we are in as they know that their parent club will rescue them at the end of the season and we have helped gain them match fitness/put them in the shop window etc.
I would rather see Josh Wright, JonJo, Yass et all given chances to help our club/their career rather than the likes of Crainie and Primus (insert favourite loan star here). Loans should be there for last ditch/potential purchase possibilities.I noticed a Blackpool fan on here voiced the same concerns for his club but to be fair to Simon Grayson the players he has bought in go on to do things like score/set up goals and shock of shocks play well, all the things a manager might reasonably expect from a player.
