Nothing.
Sometimes you have to take your fate like a man. Its not nice, and no one wants this, but sometimes you just need to take a step back from it all. Demanding managers change every couple of games won't help, whoever is there will be working with the same players.
Its not even halfway through the season yet, and i find people saying we are already down defeatist and a bit silly to be honest. We are on a dire run at the moment, sometimes you just have to accept it.
We are NOT down by any means...but we need to get a grip big time...I'm very dissapointed in Nicky Bailey's form to be honest...he started off like a train for those first few games and we thought just maybe here's the new Kins.....but he's gone steadily backwards...I'm not blaming him alone of course but I honestly thought he would be the catylist for us to kick on....how wrong I was!!

sky sports said he was man of the match today, so thats harsh to say that.
This season has been a disater so far...how much more can we take...The Zabeel thing was a huge blow and now bottom of the league....we've simply sold key players at key moments....the old Charlton disease......I've seen us do it for decades with every good reason for doing it under the sun...I'm sick of it...selling Andy Reid was an fing joke I tell ya!

Really...that was far from the impression I got listening to the commentary....I wasn't there let's see what others say.
If that's the case I'm delighted to hear it.
You can walk my path, you can wear my shoes
Learn to talk like me and be an angel too
But maybe you ain't never gonna feel this way
You ain't never gonna know me, but i know you
I'm singing it now-
Things can only get better
They can only get better if we see it through-
that means me and I mean you too
So teach me now that things can only get better,
They can only get, they only get, take it on from here
You know i know that things can only get better
I sometimes lose myself in me, I lose track of time
And I can't see the wood for the trees
You set them alight
burning bridges as you've gone
I'm too weak to fight ya
I've got my personal hell to deal with, then you say
Walk my path, wear my shoes, talk like that-
I'll be an angel then
Things can only get better
they can only get better, now i found you
Things can only get better, they can only get better,
now I found you
and you and you
You have shown me prejudice and greed
And you've shown me how I must learn to deal with this disease
I look at things now in a different light than I did before
And I've found the cause
and I think you can be my cure
So teach me to...
Walk your path, wear your shoes, talk like that, I'll be an angel and
Things can only get better.......
That's why we need to appoint a new manager pretty sharpish- give then time to assess the squad and whom they want to ship out and bring in during the January transfer window which is only three weeks or so away now, so we have to act.

I hate being pessimistic but this season thus far is an absolute total and utter disaster, I'd really love to say this is where we bottom out and begin the fight back, but in reality it is really hard to see just where and how this side can save themselves, we celebrate draw with Southampton like we've won the cup and get outplayed by Blackpool and the reality is it really can get worse and probably will, next year we could be celebrating a hard fought point at Orient. I have nothing against PP but I think it is pretty evident that what we have is unfortunately more of the same. Plainly a different tack is required a new non Charlton person has to come in with a fresh perspective, this needs to be done whilst we are still a semi attractive proposition to prospective managers, there is still more than half the season left and a good appointment could bring about a turn in fortune.
We are heading straight into (if we're not already there) one of those frequent and long bad patches our club has had so many of. This, from a fan's view, will sort the men out from the boys in terms of who can claim to be a "loyal" fan. Get ready boys and girls it's going to get a lot bumpier here on in, and for quite a while yet. I hope I am wrong, but I've seen it all before.
No Eltham - I don't think you have seen it all before- it's been 25 years since we've been this bad - in terms of league position - and even then in the old 2nd division and even the 3rd division, we had a team of players, who we knew weren't good quality, but AT LEAST THEY TRIED!
They weren't pampered, they couldn't be charlie-big-spuds because they'd played in the Premierleague less than 2 years ago, they were mostly homegrown or £10,000 players, NOT £10,000 A WEEK players.
They were Charlton players - the ground was a wreck, the terracing was steep and empty - but you know what - we played well from time to time - we took the mighty Ipswich side to the last kick of the game in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, the BBC Match Of The Day Cameras were there - Les Berry FFS was playing Centre Half.
But you know what - and this isn't rose coloured specatacles - I went to EVERY GAME as a Kid and thought we WOULD WIN.
I go to every home game now and I expect to see a side bereft of hard graft, a will to win and players who professionally did not want to let each other down.
We are clueless The side is full of strangers We have conceded a bucket load of pieces from set pieces and yet we don't appear to get better at defending them And up front, we play a poor sod who doesn't train due to family problems and then starts each game and looks more and more unfit
Luke Varney, Matt Holland, Mark Hudson - they are Charlton players of yesteryear, and I would rather see them play than who we have playing at the moment - players who collectively are not fit to wear the shirt.
I will be there on Tuesday and next Monday - it will be freezing, but I shall come and sing and shout and suport the side
Charlton 'Till I Die ..... but we are going down and better to now start working for next season.
Bring in Shelvey, Solley, Wright, Dickson, MacLeod - they'll all be invaluable to us next year ......

But, I thought you lot didn't care about Charlton? I for one certainly don't give a toss about you!
Or we might just stay where we are till the end of the season .........
