I wonder what will happen to Kins if Parky departs..?

  • then it can be changed back.

Just glad Damian Matthew is still with the club.

    An asset in my opinion.

parky is going no where the sooner its officialy announced the better.

    why ?

He has the caretaker title, but the players are reacting better than they did when Les Reed didn't have the caretaker's title, so its irrelevent.

I think it doesn't really need to be said that Phil and everyone else knows the current situation; get us winning and playing better in the next handful of games and the job's yours, if not then we may have to look elsewhere.

Its a fair deal, and it looks from here that its one he is grasping.

    Agree with AFKA.

Not convinced it is a done deal by any means but I imagine that the fans who are directors are warming to him in the same way many of us are.

Meanwhile PP has an incentive to do well and the club has time to consider whatever other options are out there.

I think people who are getting impatient waiting for a definate announcement will have to wait a little longer. Maybe Derek Chappell will make a big announcement on 16th Dec at Bromley Addicks.

    Or more likely not : - )
  • I too am a happy man that Damian Matthew is still at the club the footie played by the yoof under him was fantastic and if he can replicate that at ressie level we should get some more attractive style of footballers coming through and will only help the yoof players going in to the ressies
  • The clues are there as to why its Parky, the loan signings the lack of any news on a new manager, Parky doing ok. Im like everyone else he is winning me over but the longer it goes on just annoys me. Just needs someone to clear things up, either its his job or here till Jan or the end of the year. We cant afford a top manager, parky has a deal until 2010 so just say its his then we can move on.. Parkinson's Red and White Army!!!
  • What's the point of coming up with an arbitrary date - why, just to please demanding fans?

It only heaps more pressure on the club and current management, and doesn't really serve any practical purpose at all.

Everyone knows what the score is - Parky is being given some time to turn things round, and if he does, the jobs is his.
If everything turns to Pardew-esque ratshit again, then times up.

    No promises, no BS.
  • My concern is whether there would be room for Kins now this chap has his job, should Parky go. Perhaps this is a hint that Parky will stay? I think its the right thing to keep the pressure on though personally at least in the interim

AFKA have you put your CV in again like last time?

    :)
  • Im happy he is still at the club as NLA said his style of football was good last year as opposed to Gritty's conntinued lump it forward football of last night.

is that the case though? I thought that the Club said on releasing Pardew that Parky would be in charge for the forthcoming game at QPR. The didn't say that he would be in charge for Saints game but he was. I disagree that everybody knows what the score is, I certainly don't.

  • I dont think anyone knows 100% except Parky and the board the rest is speculation

for what its worth my opinion is that i think we could do with an announcement to just clarify the position and so that all of us can get on with life. Because it is certainly on my mind every day as to who will be in charge
  • We know that Parky is in charge at the moment, we know that most of us like what we have seen from him and the much improved home performance. I for one hope that we start winning some games with Parky in charge, but even then I don't think his position will be clarified until at the very least we get out of the bottom three or four.
