Am very worried that Parky has been allowed to stay. He is part of the problem and cannot come in and lift the players which a completely new man would do. Surely we have enough behind the scenes to caretake the team till a new manager is appointed. I fear Parky will get the job long term because we can1t afford to get rid of Pardew and him.

And Pardew is the one they need to get rid of first.
Amazing.7 years in the premier league.Selling the likes of Darren Bent and Luke Young for millions and we can't even afford to pay off a two bob coach.
What the bloody hell is going on with this club?

Because Pards was on more than a 2 bob contract......?
I'm sorry to be a moaner all the time, but I think the board may be up for criticism here, this has gone on far longer than it should have, and may well be too late, our squad confidence has been decimated by letting this go on too long. I hope very much that this isn't the case, but to leave things this long has forced the clubs hand and in dire circumstances in my very humble opinion.
Hiring Dowie - forgiveable, selling Reid - big mistake, Selling Iwelumo - perhaps even bigger mistake given the small financial gain. Allowing Pards to carry on when he clearly had little to give from very early on this season also a mistake. I mean no disrespect to the men who put their money behind our little club. I am guessing circumstances have conspired to make all this come about the way it has. Its just a shame that all the goodwork is unravelling in this way.
Onwards and upwards, I hope we get it right this time, I don't envy RM et al right now.
I must also say some elements of the crowd today were pathetic ribbing the keeper, and leaving early too after the fifth was equally pooor - sorry if you don't like it.
I think Weaver deserves some ribbing - he was at fault for two goals last week and two today -and could have been made to look a pillock by Halford if it hadn't hit the bar!
And your comment about people leaving after the FIFTH!!!!!!!! That's the FIFTH goal - meaning the FIFTH of FIVE goals we had conceded in the first 50 minutes of the match!

To be fair Iwelumo wasn't particularly good for us. We just hoofed it up to him, and he gave away a lot of free kicks (there were stats for this, it's not one of those 'myths').
He's shown at Wolves in the right team, right service, with the right manager they're getting the best out of him. But that should be true for any player, Pardew never got the best out of anyone consistently.
to be fair he was our best striker, in every way..... and if given more service as shown at wolves can score - alot more! The problem we also have is as soon as Gray is off form injured subbed we have no one who can win the ball up front.
Pardew had a 2 year plan and the board sack him when, he's only done 23 months. He wasn't given enough time. Who's knows we might have been top of the league. ;-0)
tired of the argument but Big Chris could play on the deck as well as in the air, one outstanding question for me as well as Reid was who decided he should go. The latter was clearly the board, but I have a suspicion Pards could have kept BC if he had wished to.

Sorry, Shooters, I must have missed your last sentence.
