Loan players too many ?

edited November 2008 in General Charlton
I thought last year Pardew put his hands up and said he dabbled too much with loan players and unsetteling the side.......now i know he has to do something but wount he now end up in a bigger mess.....thought he was going to play his best team from now......so pick it and keep with it....its not like the team has to do much better to improve...then just hope...they knit into a team

  • I get the feeling his loans are possibly temp to perm ;o)
  • He's got in a mess and as we can't sign anyone permanently he's taking risks to sort it out. Seems to have realised the squad wasn't as good all round as he thought it was. Just hope Waghorn works out and if he gets anyone else in, its the right player in the right position.
  • I think he probably said that before the financial crisis was revealed mid summer.

The agenda (to use a Pardewism) changed after that and he had to start looking at the loan market again.

I really hope people give our manager some support this Saturday. OK, sometimes his management can be questioned but he IS our manager and as such, should get our full backing.

What happened to a verse of 'Super Al'? (or is that pushing it?? lol)
  • This season is all about survival imho. Loans or whoever we can get to make sure we get enough points to stay up. There will be cuts next season so time then to start from scratch.
  • Where are these 4 loan players that were suppose to be coming in up to now ?
  • I think two of them were maybe Harte and Powell perhaps?
