Tango Man on Talksport last night

Anyone hear him on Talksport last night, he was on drive time with Nick Moran the young film director, as he has apparently funded some film scheme.

Adrian Durham mentioned about him getting stick from football fans due to his permatan and flowing locks, he said "No I dont", Durhams says "You do when you go to Charlton", cue silence and no reply from the orange one, nearly crashed the car laughing, brilliant stuff Durham.

  • Don't worry. He'll have a witty comeback ready tonight when Max Clifford has written it for him.
  • Wish id heard that, lol.
Just shows how thick that permatan skin can be, or is it all that bleach he's had on his head over the years that's rotted his brain and made him oblivious to all the stick he gets..............

I doubt that it is the bleach that has rotted his brain but I'll stop there before M'learned Friends get involved ; - )
  • Couldnt stand listening to the twat, had to switch to five live on my way home.
  • Did anyone ask "Who owns Selhurst Park ?".
  • One of the things he was asked was why don't they reduce the prices at Palarse so that they get more in and people would then by food drink etc. He said it doesn't work like that and people given cheap tickets don't do that because it under-values the product. The point about them not spending has to be complete rubbish.

It was such a dogmatic statement that he made, it's no wonder he gets himself into all kinds of scrapes. Of course there is a well known point that offering things too cheap does under-value it's worth but he seems to have missed the lesson that Charlton have learned that targetting free tickets to key groups does lead both to spending at matches and most importantly, people returning and paying for tickets at future games.

Trouble is, the way we're playing at the moment, most people don't bother coming back!!! We couldn't give away free tickets now if we tried;-)
