Racon and Fortune back, too. The latter very welcome, I think. Three games in eight days coming up from the Shed U match and can't see anyway Primus will play all of them. Fortune's return offers us good cover.
How long has Primus got left with us anyway? or Craine for that matter, If fortune isnt fully fit by then we are in big trouble with Hudson (as good as he's been) on his own at Centre back. Think Pardews loan priority must be a Centre back? I know Semedo can play there and we can re-jig the back line but we need to sign a centre back.
Well my gut instinct tells me Tony Adams is not going to want him back. By Linvoy's own admission he hasn't been on the blower saying 'I need you back here as soon as your loan is over because you are central to my plans for Pompey's world domination'. I suspect we will be offered him first on an extended loan and then a full transfer in January. At his age the fee will be minimal so it will be all about wages, I guess...
Cranie will be returning , for sure. He's a young and promising defender. And if there's one thing Adams prides himself on, it's got to be taking young and promising defenders and turning them into class acts.
I didn't mean on his track record as a manager, but on his playing days as one of them (even though I recall shouting 'donkey' every time he touched the ball when we played against the Arsenal!)
If he thinks he has any merit as a manager, it has to be built around creating a great back four. That's what he knows about, obviously, and that's what I meant...
Cranie is on season long loan, which probably means he could go back in January, Primus is up after the derby game. I think he was the only one who realistically thought he would be in Pompeys plans even before Harry left

If that's Dicko's excuse, what's Varney's?

Does he? Where did he do that before then? Certainly not at Wycombe and he's not had time to do it at Pompey.

Did Racon get injured then?
