1 point gained - 1 nil down and looking like another defeat IMO. It's a good sign that we fought back from 1 nil down. Of course it's annoying to concede but would have been way worse if it had ended 1-0 with no fight.
It's a good point but it's impossible to overlook the fact that with two minutes to go we took the lead. It's the players I feel sorry for. A last gasp win would have really helped to boost confidence for our next game. To concede is like a slap in the face.
Can't agree with 2 points dropped, it is definately 1 point gained given we were losing for so much of the match. However it is very frustrating to have let that last goal in.
At the beginning of the game though most people would have taken an away point against Plymouth with 2 goals scored, and hopefully a bit more confidence for Grey going into the next game (if he hasn't be swapped by then of course!)
Its disappointing, thats for sure, but at least shows the players haven't lost all heart, so we shouldn't. Its times like this when support, rather than negativity, must be given. I know its pretty crap at the mo', but we know that Pardew has been given some breathing space to try & pull this round, so why don't we focus on getting behind the staff these next few weeks?
Come on you Reds, a bit more of that next week & we might be on to something! :-)
I was watching Final Score and our 2nd came up on the Vidiprinter. I leapt out of my seat. Then they went to the game just as Plymouth equalised. What a sickener.

On balance a point gained and it's odd to see people who went for a Charlton deafeat in the prediction thread , and so expected nothing, now saying we dropped two points.
But the point only maintains our record over the season so far. At 3pm we had 15 points from 15 games. Now we've got 16 from 16.
So forgive me if I'm not preparing for an Obama-style party just yet...
1-0 down, playing badly, we rescued a point whatever the circumstances. I would have taken that. That we came back from one down suggests that there is some fight there. Long may it continue.
oh come on yet again Pards plays a negative formation away from home 'expecting' not to win... we don't have anyone who can play the lone striker, therefore don't do it! We have a host of decent players who have track records who aren't doing it, the reason being the problem is still with us and surprisingly the way we play is the same, time to go Mr Pards.
For those that are desparate to get rid of Pards, are you really that disappointed? Surely a win would have put your campaign back by a couple of weeks.
The apology of a team that turned out against Barnsley last week could not stage any sort of fightback.
The boys deserve credit for having the spirit to claw their way into a winning position having gone a goal down which is a massive improvement on last week.
Yes it's disappointing to concede in injury time but I would have taken a point before the match so well done lads on a hard fought draw.
Agree with that Len, although I think we need to put the Barnsley horror show behind us and stop comparing future performances to that particular nadir : we were so abject on Nov 1st that we could play appreciably better than that every game for the rest of the season and still lose every single one of them!
But yes, one step at a time on the road to recovery...
Hopefully in these times of adversity we will find the kind of spirit needed to bring the club back together. Birmingham will be a tough test for our frail temper.
I was out during the Plymouth game, managed to hear that we were losing 1-0 and then proceeded to feel peeved (again), I had then written it off as another blank when I heard the final score- 2-2, not bad I thought, when I saw we were 2-1 up in injury time and Plymouth equalized at the death I began to fee a bit peeved (again) but overall seeing as we thought it was all over going into the 86th minute and that going into the game we would have taken a draw- on balance I have to say it is a point gained. As for the Birmingham game-In a strange way the pressure on the team will be a bit lighter next week, I don't think after the last few weeks many will expect too much from there, having said that they stumbled at Forest and are by no means unbeatable. We can go there and play with a reasonable sense of freedom and as long as the chaps give it their all who's to say it we couldn't get a win?

I totally agree. Come on you Addicks!

there must be positives for the players to take from this result as well as feeling like they let it slip at the end
