Love him or loathe him, he brings up a topical theme today in his colum. He questions the attendance for the Barnsley game, as well as if we as a club can fudge our gates why cant we do the same with our results.
He also states that there are many reasons for fans not turning up at games, holiday, christmas, the weather etc, but also points to having Pardew as a manager and a forward who seems to have left his legs in the changing room.
[cite]Posted By: suzisausage[/cite]he doesn't refer to it, so I'd suspect he hasn't read it to find out why the attendances appear to be inflated....?
was thinking the same what a c**t he is
Just read it on my lunch break. was thinking the same and was thinking of sending him an email telling him so.
Okay, so which one of you is Kelvin?
Rumbled :-)
That’s what my grandparent uesd to do. They were Millwall through but when they wanted a bit of culture they came down the valley.
When I was a school boy if Charlton were away I'd go to West Ham as they had 1st division football. On occasion I ventured down the Den but I never really enjoyed the football.
But I still dont think it right to change who you really support.
The article on the OS was a response to him asking questions about it, they got their retailiation in, first. The man's an effing idiot. What can the club do except report the number of tickets sold, which they HAVE to do, that's the league and tax rules.
If they did a seperate count of the number that actually show up that would a) cost money and b) confuse people as there would be two seperate figures.
If you compared Man U's (and every other club in Britain) official attendance to the number in the ground it would be lower, too. Complete non story.
It's me...(at least that's what I'm telling Kelvin's bank manager when I try to clear his account out in a minute...)
Most Millwall fans i've met have been alright and are happy to chat SE London footy. My grandad always used to say the the 'wall and Charlton fans used to mix a lot and there never was the animosity that there was between certain clubs in London.
I may hold a minority view of course!
