  • Unbeaten at Home Park for 16 years what an away record, Come on you Reds!!!!!
  • I have a few memories of the more recent encounters. The game in 90/91 was the last day of the season and on the terraces were the usual fancy dress outfits as is customary. The action on the pitch wasn't up to much, Darren Pitcher headed an own goal and if I'm right it was the only appearance in a Charlton shirt for Andy Salako. We had no luck against Plymouth that season as the game at Selhurst had finished 0-1, with a keeper called David Walter defying everything the Addicks could throw at him.

The 91/92 game was notable for Garry Nelson's first goal in a Charlton shirt and Pitcher making up for his og with a thumping penalty.

On the coaches run by Lewis's in the late 80's a tape was often put on (think it was Steve Dixon's) and this included the footage of the FA Cup game in 1981 which will be remembered for a brilliant performance in goal by Nicky Johns.
  • I remember last year.

    Great game, rubbish company. ;-)

Remember the 91/92 game as it was not a far trip (comparatively)for me and my dad when I was living in Yeovil.

My dad took my mum to watch plymouth argyle in a pre season friendly on their honeymoon (Charlton werent even playing but Argyle had just been promoted to the same league as us). Now thats commitment.
  • I remember the 5-0 drubbing we got down there.I went on Lewis's Coaches with my dad. The home end was 'taken' by Charlton and they were all dressed in Clockwork Orange garb.
