how does the promotion/relegation work from the conference.
ie if 4 northern teams were relegated from the conference, would they automatically go into conference north, with the 2 most southern in that league switching to conference south.
god this is quite difficult to explain.
if anyone understands what i'm trying to say and knows the answer then thanks. if they haven't a clue what i'm on about then just ignore.

Corby Town switched between the two at least once.
I don't know for sure but suspect that the same principle would apply with Conference North and South.
by my reckoning you could have someone promoted from a 'north feeding div' to conference south, depending on geography.
very confusing for clubs around the midlands.
Don't know if this helps at all. From reading this a committee determines which feeder league sides relegated from conference north and south go to.
